youth

JAM or Jesus and Me classes are held Sunday mornings from 9:15-9:45 a.m.

These classes are for three-year-olds through sixth grade. Each week the focus is on a Gospel lesson learned through play, story, and music.

We also host Vacation Bible School for one week during the summer.

middle and high school

JAM serves our middle school youth and high school as well.

Confirmation Class

This intensive class affords youth, typically seventh grade through sophomores, an opportunity to examine their faith in depth.  The course includes a study of the Bible and its formation as well as an overview of Bible content.  The history portion of the class covers the activities of the church from the time of Acts to the present.  A portion of the study focuses on how faith is lived in our daily lives, from the responsibilities of church membership for worship and service to the ethics and morals we hold for our relationships and our work.

Starting in January, each youth is paired with an adult mentor to work on their individual statements of faith outside of the class time.  There are also opportunities for fun and fellowship throughout the year as the class members work together to experience a variety of mission and ministry opportunities.
